A Simple Colour Change Wrexham
This kitchen took me to one of the highest villages in Wales with stunning views on a clear day stretching as far as good view of the Peak district, Frodsham Hill and the Cheshire Plain; with Jodrell Bank being seen on really clear days.
This job was a cream, wooden painted shaker style kitchen in very good condition, the client was wanting an on trend grey colour with a finish similar to what they currently had. The colour of choice being Benjamin Moore - Deep Space 2125-20 in an eggshell finish.
I collected a key off the client as they were going away on holiday, which was a god send with social distancing! The first job - removal of all doors, drawer fronts and plinths, Hayley got straight on with that, labelling everything as she went and loading straight in the van. I followed behind putting protection down on work surfaces and floor space around all base units.
Next, a degrease of all surfaces to be painted with a citrus degreaser. Then onto the sanding before the first application of paint is applied - adhesion primer, followed by two top coats of finishing paint.
Off to the unit to work on the doors etc following the same process as with the frames.
Everything wrapped at the unit and returned to the job, and hey presto a new kitchen! With another happy customer!
